Tribute to Mom

Do you have a special mom you want to honor? My mom has always been special. Our home was the hub of the neighbourhood kids when I was growing up! All of my friends called her mom and liked to stop by after school for milk and her homemade cookies. We always knew that she would be there to welcome us home. Even now there is always homemade cookies and coffee put out for a treat when anyone stops by for a visit. She is one of the kindest, softhearted people I have ever met and know that one day she will be gone so I cherish each moment we have together! Tell us about your mom too!

I am very glad that you feel that way about your mom. And your description of your home is similar to mine. I am the one that half the kids in town call mom. I have a lot of kids that would rather come talk to me than their own parents. It makes me proud to think that I have earned their respect. It is a great feeling.
