Do you have elderly parents who need your help, or that you look after? I used to help with looking after my mother when she was alive, and run her all over. She's been gone for quite a few years now. My father is 82 now and going blind so had become very dependent on me to drive him around and help him with things. I do it because I love him and because I don't want to see him go into a nursing home if I can prevent it, but it does put a lot of responsibility on my shoulders.
Does anyone else act as a caregiver for an elderly parent or relative??

I wasn't that lucky. My dad passed away when I was 25 and he was 59. We lost him to cancer. My mother had a terrible breakdown when I was born and she has never had much use for me. However my husbands' brother has cebreal palsy and he wasn't able to live alone anymore so we took him in that was in 2001. Take Care

I am a caregiver to my husband. He had a workplace accident and injured his spine so can no longer work. He is also a depressive/agressive and he classes me as his calmer as when I am not around he gets into a state. It does put a lot of responsiblity on my shoulders but I gladly do it as I love him and wouldn't like to see him put into a mental institution or anything like that. You sound like a genuine caring woman butterfly it is lovely to see.
