Well, I really don't care what people think about my music... but if my boyfriend were having his friends over he wouldn't want them to see that I like the Spice Girls, Panic! At the Disco, and Justin Timberlake.

No, it doesn't matter to me at all who knows what I've got in my record collection. They don't have to listen to my music if they don't want to.
I think everybody has a choice and if visiting them whilst they're playing their music, you should respect their choice and listen with them.
Brightest Blessings.

its true. but in real world, friends can sometimes be cruel and make u a laughingstock for things like that. my friends surely will be like that. its not that they dont respect me, its just something people would find amusing and funny. and being friends for long time, u know that u can laugh at that person without him/her being offended. So, instead of having to burden all their teasing, u would just keep it to yourself.

Lol. Good discussion. I have several of those types of CDs. But the only one I will admit to out loud is my BEEGEES greatest hits. I absolutely love their music. But if I play it while my kids and hubby are home I get the "are you NUTS" looks from all of them. LOL
