I Confuse about one formula?

it's called integers...when negative sign multiply with positive sign the product would be negative always. and when you multiply negative to negative numbers the product would be always positive. this is the law for multiplication and division as well. Just in case you may encounter integers in addition and subtraction, it has a different application. For example, when you add equation like a) 2x + (-x) = X, but, -2x + x = -X. it might be, you can explain 1x2= 2 with simple examples like oranges and persons; how many oranges i need to have if each one of the two persons must have one orange? 1x2=2 (im not to good at examples), the same as if i have 3 persons 1x3=3, etc. BUT when you talk about negative numbers on multiplications you cant give the same example as oranges and persons. The "-" x "-" = "+" differs from the "+" x "+" = "+" wich seems obvious, but they both have the same "+" result, that is the rule. And the other one "-" x "+" = "-", wich is the same as "+" x "-" = "-".

You take the sign of the greater number. 2 is greater that one. So if 2 has negative sign, the answer must also be negative.
