pen-pals/pen-friends!

I have been experimenting with having penpal and epals for a long time now, and I've got some that I really enjoy writing to. Haven't met any of them though (all are overseas), but plan in meeting them sometime down the road. I've been writing to them for about six months while the longest I've known is for about 3 years old.

Up to a year or so ago, I use to be really active in the penpal world, even participating in decos, lyrix and slams. Sadly, I got a little dark and twisted about life for a while, and I slowly slowly stopped writing. I have only a couple these days who I have actually owed a little too for a while now. I love writing letters and getting to know people through this old traditional art form. Sometimes I miss it but I fear the lack of time and energy at times, that would make me sucky so I don't see me majorily re-entering the world any time soon. I've never actually met any of them in person. Most were overseas for one thing, and none in my own town either. I'm quite chatting and open in my letters, but in real life I'm actually really shy, quiet and reserved, so I'm honestly not to sure if I could pull off meeting someone.
