do you ever reveal your real name/identity in any discussion? / myLot

Is everybody using nick names in myLot, or are there people using their real names? Nick names are actually COOL, but maybe once in a while I'd like to shout out my real name.... It's Jimmy here. What is your name?

i don't think their is a need for revealing ur identity over a place where u have a separate identity particularly for that place . why should one reveal his identity ,it's all about discussions nothing else

I juz thought for once in a while, the ideas or opinion we write in here are as original as our own real names. It's like we know that Superman is Clark Kent and Batman is Bruce Wayne.....

I hesitate to use my name simply because I don't know how far people can find out about me and such. My first name (btw it's Lew) is not so bad but the last or even middle I would not devoulge unless I was having a private converstation with someone who I've been vitual friends with for a while. Even then I'm not so sure.

Hi Lew.... Yours ain't bad at all! hahaha I dun believe anyone's given a "bad" name by his/her parents... They were juz being creative in inventing something unique. As for the harms one can get from revealing his true identity on the internet, I guess, is by how far we keep a decent conversation going...
