vvs lakshman is very disappointed that he is not playing the world cup. kaif does not know why he was dropped. these whiners should hang their heads in shame after seeing what sourav has done. he performed he perfomed with vengeance. forced his way into the team. and once he was there he kept on performing with commitment to the team.became again a most valuable asset for the team. contrast this with lakshman who withdrew from the hyd oneday team when he was not selected. indian team needs tigers not rats and parasites

Sorry, to disappoint you even Sourav ran away to England and
he fared very poorly there in ODI's. He came back because Sehwag was playing poorly. Frankly, speaking if this team does not win the world cup. Then Sachin, Sourav, Dravid, Kumble, Laxman (all 30 +) players should retire, or should be expelled. All of them, keep harping about their individual records (what's the use, over cupboard has been empty since 1983).

i hold no brief for sourav. in fact i think he should have been dropped atleast a couple of series earlier since he was not contributibg as a player. a senior players repeated failures reflected in the results and also undermined his authority as a captain. but he realised loss of form was the cause of his downfall and tried evry thing to regain it. including playing in england. slowly he got his form back. the others instead of regaining form go on whining.

Hi Ashok,
Frankly speaking is see nothing into his resurgence, it has come on flat, batsman friendly pitches with a very true bounce. The real test will only come in the world cup and after that either they win the cup, otherwise all the old boys should be sent home, and yes Yuvraj should be made the captain, with Dhoni as his deputy.

well what saurav did was exceptional to get into the team....n what he did after his come back is even more exceptional.....he is known for his self confidence tat the bengal tiger has.....
what laxman did was wrong not choosing to play in the local odi matches....he must hav proved the selectors wat he is capable of....but he is not saurav....c'mon these guys r not saurav.....
n they also were never given a chance....but raina got chance after chance even when not performing well.....that must hav frustrated them too....
