India Vs Pak on April 15th. Isnt this really bizarre!!!

I read an article on a website and it says the following about the super 8 stage schedule of the upcoming World Cup 2007. The article says that the schedule of the super 8 is somewhat fixed and it says the India will play Pakistan on April 15 2007. The World Cup rules state the following "Team names for the Super Eight stage are indicative based on the top two teams from the Group Stage qualifying. If these two teams do qualify they will be seeded in position 1 or 2 as specified regardless of whether they finish first or second in their group. For example, if South Africa wins Group A and Australia comes second, for the purposes of the Super Eights, South Africa will still be A2 and Australia will be A1." In that sense if look at India, even if India beats Srilanka in Group B and comes on top of Group B still India will be B2 and Pakistan will be D1 even if they come second in Group D. Looking at the above India (B2) will come up against Pakistan (D1) on April 15. If it is what it means then dont you think this is going to take away all the charm of such a big event when each team knows when and where they are going to play strong opponents?? Can anyone please throw some light on this. This seems to be really ridiculous.
