How do I explain to my boyfriend why God is important?

Religion or God is not something that can be easily explained. It has to be felt. You either can feel God or you can't. I don't know what your religion is but you can start by bringing your boyfriend to your place of worship. Maybe this will help. ;-)

just tell him : "honey did you know why i love you? because GOD teach me how to love some one" and "god always loves me till now, i can get good life, health and you"
