I have a quite high cholesterol level since 10 years ago, more or less. I proved many kind of food to find someting good to reduce it and I didn't find anything to do it quickly.
I reduce it with:
- a regular physical activity;
- eating lots of vegetables and fruits, few meat and very little (or nothing at all) cheese and butter;
- reducing as much as possible the stress of our life.
following these rules I can SLOWLY reduce the cholesterol level.
Ther'are medicines that can quite easy reduce it but I want avoid them.
I don't believe that ther'is an easy and quick way to reduce the cholesterol!

There is no quick fix to this, sadly it takes time. Two main ways of doing it, 1) life style changes or 2) medication from your doctor.
You can make changes to your life through diet, weight management and exercise. For your diet you need to limit the amount of saturated fat and cholesterol you eat. Increase the amount of soluble fibre in your diet (eg oatmeal or apples) while ensuring you only have enough calories to maintain your weight.
If your overweight try to loose some weight (I know how difficult this is, but its worth a try) and make sure you get regular exercise.
Also if your into your alternative therapies or herbal then try fish oil tablets such as cod liver oil. This is supposed to help with cholesterol but there is no proof that this works.

the best easy way is to take diet and keep on eating oatmeal for breakfast and even for dinner with any steam or baked dishes . try to monitor how long have you gone so that if your cholesterol is still so high you need a doctor's prescription to help it lower down by keeping a low fat diet too.
