Do you like fabrics?

I love being creative with fabrics, I use them to scrapbook, and card make and I love going through my box of creative bits and pieces to look for that special piece to incorporate! I wonder if it is the tactile response to different types of fabric, but I love it and does any one have a fav fabric site if so which one is it?. My mother has always worked with fabrics she ran her own curtain making business, and likes to make quilts, I haven't been that adventurous yet! but I was wondering does anyone like working with fabrics as part of the creative process?
