Are you comfortable meeting people from the internet in real life?

I've met several of my 'net friends. My experience is that, by and large, people are honest about who they are online, and the ones that aren't honest are not going to go to any sort of meet-up.
I also use the 'net to organize for local activism, so there is an assumption that everyone will meet. So, amybe that's colored my judgement a bit.

i love chatting very much whether the person on the other side is a male or a female or whether i know him/her or not.... chatting is a way to express yourself and to know about others , so dont hesitate dear and just go for it, you will soon become comfortable with it, you have to be in it to believe it........

It's kind of strange to me to meet people a met online.
I never did and probably never will.
But I can say that I have some friends who did it and there are different endings to their stories. Some end in a good way and others not.

Where are you originally from then?
I am not SURE about meeting people from chat in real life. some personalities may differ and some people hide behind the monitor, some vicious, dirty and ugly personalities. they might appear to you to be nice at first, but in real life they are the cruelest SOB's! mind you MOST online chatters are professional liars.
I met one person in real life. turned out to be a big cheater and a liar. my x-girlfriend.
But looking forward to someone that would change my mind about online people. just to be my friend.
