how to choose a puppy?

I want to foster a puppy for my family, but I don't know how to choose one. Some people tell me to see the teeth, paw, temper and so on, but they can not tell the reasons for that.

The only reason I can think of for someone telling you to check the paw is that it will help you determine just how big your dog will be. Of course you want to know the temperment. You want to see if the dog is friendly. If you have children then you want them to meet the potential puppy and she how they all react. Good Luck.

I think any cute puppy would be ok. the choice I think depends of your needed I would like a big dog but if you live in apartment a little doggy would be ok.
