Fail to play a desire game using my own computer.What the problem???

i had fail to play several games in my computer --(age of empires 3 and motoGP).
i had check the system requirement for those game, and it's above the minimal. So, why after i start to play that game, the error messege occur, "windows encounter a problem, please check your hardware and sofware"

my friend also tried to install that game,
and the result was ok, he can play that game,
his computer system performace is lower than me .So WHY ha??

Many reasons may cause that.If you are using pirated one,ofcourse that's common,have not patched the game properly
or any wrong issues like that.Secondly you may have not installed proper directx version.If you are not using win xp sp2,than go for it...try all these..wish you have solution for it sooner.

If you are using original then you shouldnt have such problem. If its pirated then get the right patch or maybe you need to mount the game image
