how can i get a long lasting relationship

That is a really difficult question to answer without knowing you. Maybe you are trying too hard. I don't know how you are meeting people but the right one will come along. You just need to always keep the lines of communication open and you need to both have trust in one another. Relationships take work and time for them to succeed. I wish you all the best. You have to have honesty and trust in one another.Being jealous will only push your partner away in the long run.Try not to spend too much time together in the beginning.This will only make you tired of seeing each other so much.

Hi mate ! You need to focus on the other person. Concentrate more on creating a sense of genuine friendship without ego barriers. Be considerste and caring. Love and respect are 2 items which you get in plenty by giving it freely. I am in a long relationship with a person who is lazy, self centred and malicious quite often. Yet the relationship goes on finely, because I have adjusted. Some great guy ( I think it is Robert Schuller) said that " you can never control what others say or do; what you can do or say is perfectly in your control". The quote may not be verbatim, but it is something to that effect.

I just wanted to say that, Trust is the most important factor that binds together two pwople for a long time, If you have no trust in your partner then your string of relationships would loosen easily and at one point of time it will break. Trust your partner and try to make him/her trust you.

tips... i guess for a relationship to work we have to work on it but should be both ways... its a give and take relationship... it needs time to see if the relationship is really worth it... trust, respect, loyaty, patience and love its all or nothing... we have to deal and try our best to work things out... were all different you just have to understand and accept each other... and hope for the best...
