If you ever hit a person really hard while driving and you know it's your fault, what would you do ?
1. Would you be so scared and confused and just run (the ever famous ' hit and runs' ?) OR
2. Would you stop the car, calm down and have the courage to get down and see how badly hurt the person is (or even alive or not ?) and take him/her to hospital ? Would you have that much courage ? Be truthful !
I really don't know what i'd do if ever in such a situation.
Have you ever been in such a situation ? what did you do ?

I would never hit someone and run! No matter who's fault it was. I would def. stop the car! I think hit and runs are the worst things! I would not take the person to the hospital, you're not suppose to move someone when they got hit, I would call authorities and let them care for him.

Absolutely, I would stop. It is the right thing to do and it is also the lawful thing to do. No matter how frightened I was, I would have to stop and help in any way that I could. I have never been in that situation but I know I would do the right thing.

I know I would get out of the car and check the other person immediatly. Thankfully I never had that experience and dont want to ever have it. But you never know what your mind will do if ever in that situation. You know this is a morbit discussion.LOL

honestly speaking, i am from my heart, human being first of all. i had not met such type of accident in my life. but if it is happened with me inadvertently, then i get down my car, say sorry for my mistake, arrange vechile for his treatment at least in AIMS or nearby reputed hospital, compensate him for his all medical expenses and then i left for home. i am not a actor like Salman Khan who hit 4 people on road and run away. thanks.

I would see how the conditiono fthe person is....
If the person is injured badly , i will take him to the hospital....if not if he is firing on me with his energy i would prefer to follow " Hit and Run "....But i dont know whether i am right or wrong....

I would have to take a deep breath and stop and check
things out. I would do it for the morale reason. I would
have to know the person is ok or if not then I would have
to get them help. I would not be able to live with myself
if I did not stop and try to help the person. I just pray
that never happens to me because I would feel so guilty if
the person was killed or injured badly.

OH MY GOD this is really bad and pathetic on the part of people who are responsible for such acts, they shud be punished but we shud always take inititaive and help such victims but now days i have heard people fakin such accidents and robbing people who stop to help , this act of some hoodlums did made people think twice before helpin, but still we shud give this act a thought of two.

I despise hit and run drivers with a passion.
If I ever learned to drive and I hit someone, I couldn't drive away from them. I'd be in too much shock.
I'd be out of my car and checking them as soon as I could. If nobody had already done it, I'd call the emergency services.
I couldn't just leave someone lying there and I hate those cold blooded drivers who just don't care about anyone but themselves.

Honestly, I don't know or I can not say what will I do 'cuase I never been in that situation before. In a situation like this in my point of view, many thoughts that comes into our mind making us unstable for a moment or a long while and during that moment you don't know what will be the course of your action but I know and we all have the same intentions of helping the victim.

If I were you and if I was in the hit and run accident I would stop my car and help the injured person and call the ambulance. I'll be responsible for this action and I am responsible to keep this person alive. I'll be in much much trouble if I don't stop and help. This guilty feeling that I have will not make me go away and running scare for causing this. Human life cannot be replaced and I must help the injured person. The next thing I'll do is to report my action to police and admit it. I will also call the injured person's relatives and friends and let them know what is happening. You gotta know that if whether or not you are at fault regardless of the situation you can run anywhere you like but you will never hide yourself...they will find you.

well i would stop get out of the car and get help. call 911 or something. i wouldnt take the person to the hospital myself cause i wouldnt know if the person broke his/her spine or neck or something like that where if you move him/her then you could hurt them more or wose kill them. i would do everything possiable to make sure that that person was comfortable, and try to stop any bleeding if any, by putting pressure, and keep reassuring them that help was on the way and how sorry i was. luckly that has never happened to me, and i hope it never does.

Yes I have been in such a situation. I am not of the hit & run type. I am the other type - see the person is taken to the hospital & pay for all his medical expenses & wish for his speedy recovery. After all it is my fault & God sees all.

the second choice, because if you will run you only get the situation more worse.

I would most definitely stop. My heart would be pounding, and my mind would be racing, but I'd have to have the courage to get out and face my mistake. I can't imagine hitting someone and running. I have too much of a conscience for that. If I ever did that, I know it'd torture me forever. Stopping is just the right thing to do. Hell, when I hit a squirrel last summer, I stopped. That might have something to do with me being an animal lover though lol. Anyway, it doesn't really matter what I hit; I feel it's my responsibility to get out and try to do something about it if it's hurt.
