Give Me One Good Reason

When I hear the word racism, the first word that pops in my head is hate. That's all there is to it. I can't stand to see someone think they are any better than someone because they are a differnet color. I've seen some people insulted because of it, and I know it goes on in the world today, but why? Give me one good reason for it that doesn't have to do with the word hate. It makes me so angry to see it happen. Sometimes I wish the world were blind. THat might solve the problem. THere is so much hate in our society and its very disheartening. Why do people have to ruin the peaceful side of life?

I agree, racism is a true form of hate. I am saddened that this much hate can exsist in the world. Why cant people see what it does them them and to ohters. Often people think that color is the only way racism is used but it is oftne usded with male and female as well as the places that we live. It is sad.

There is no good answer, it is just plain ignorance and/or arrogance. Some people would be prejudiced even if they were blind - they would feel different or sound different, the only way to fight it is to stand your ground and not stoop to that level Kally 16

Yes, I know what you mean. I couldn't never stoop to that level. I could never hate that much. If only there was a way to persuade people. =/
