Its been observed that different people prefer to have thier first move differently. So have thier strategical impact on the game.some play it e2-e4,while other g1-f3.In my case I play e2-e4.What do you play with?Share your ideas n tell its advantage.

I'll prefer gambit move my friend, because it's very strategically for lunch our attack instead of defense. But when we use it several time, actually it just easier to counter this move. Ha one more thing, did you ever heard about The Slash Move? I've show about it once before by my friend, but i forgot about that move. If you do know about it, can you share with me :) quetioning instead of answering LOL

d2-d4 opens space for two other pieces too ,I prefer now e2 -e4 ,but also g1-f3 ,c2-c4 ,b2-b3 is playable,a friend of mine start always with b2-b3 and lot of people doesn't know how to react on it.
I like to play the sicilian opening e2-e4 c7 c5.
In the beginning I was a bit affraid of the sicilian opening and therefore I started with d2-d4 as opening , but preference could change.

I play e2-e4 also.
while the opening moves really decide how the chess game will be ended.. the battle neck still lies on the skill of the player. I play e2-e4 because you can come up with many variations.

A Chess opening is not limiter to only one move but it take several moves to complete your initial defense.
For me, Sicilian and the Queen's Gambit are the best.
Sicilian:
1. e2-e4 ..
2. Ng1-f3..
Queen's Gambit:
1. d2-d4...
2. c2-c4...
