Have you seen the news on CNN about two babies ages 2 and 4 who were smoking?

Have you seen the news on CNN about the two boys ages 2 and 4 smoking? I was shock after seeing it. Their uncle whose age was 17 and another friend who was 18 made the two boys smoke illegal drugs. And the shocking part was that the 2 boys knew how to smoke it. They were actually asking for it. and it seems like this was not the first time they did that. The mother at that time said that she was sleeping at that time. Those were babies!!! I hope that 17 and 18 year old boys who made them smoke, rot in jail. That was child abuse. The boys were taken away from that house and away from that family. I guess that the kids are better off without their family. Their mother should be responsible for her babies and I guess she knew what was going on but she just ignored her children.
What do you think about this incident? Who do you think is responsible for what happened to these babies?

oh! i pity those babies! their innocence brought them to something bad. parents must take good care of their siblings for our present generation speaks of worst things and impossible things that can now happen to anyone and everyone. i hope he babies will recover from that and forget those things in the near future. Those memories should be put to waste and they are not worth keeping. hope this won't happen again to anybody.

Well I am glad that the Children where removed. If the Mother knew about it she should be put in Jail to as I do not understand a Mother ignoring something like that unless she did not care about the Kids which seems to be the case.

i wasn't able to see it last night because i was sleeping at that time. but wow! that is totally not cool! they should lock up those people who were there and made those children smoke!

I didn't get a chance to watch the new when they were showing that. However i have heard about it alot here on mylot. and i'm really shocked that a 17 year old would do that to an incent child. If the mother didn't know what was going on, then there's something seriously wrong with her. I know every move my children make. I think that the mother should be to blame as well as the teens. The teens should be tried as adults, because of their ages.
