i much like harry potter, because i can understand the story easily, compare to lord of the rings it is very deep.

Between, those two titles i would have to choose the lord of the rings i love the epic and medieval vibe of the triology specially in the 2nd movie.

I would have to say Harry Potter, I just cant get into watching the lord of the rings. I get bored everytime i try to watch the lord of the rings and have never been able to even sit through even one show. Harry Potter though i have watched all four of those movies a few times.

If I have to compare between the two movies and I would definitely say that the Lord of the rings is a very good movie compared to the other one. This one is made for all age groups which means it in the grown-ups can enjoy the movie. On the other hand Harry Potter is a movie which is mainly directed towards the younger generation and due to that the storyline is not something which would appeal the elder people. Also Lord of the rings is a more challenging movie. The characters create more impact on the movie compared to the others in the movie Harry Potter. And also I guess there is a kind of urgency and excitement in each part of the movie Lord of the rings whereas the storyline of Harry Potter is quite predictable so I lose a little bit of interest..

I'm definitely for LOTR, I don't know why it's always compared to Harry Potter. I think LOTR is much matured than HP, and for me, the story from Tolkien's masterpiece. So I go for Lord of the Rings because as they say, "There's only one ring, one ring to rule them all!" =)
