For most of the times, these scam emails you receive are just that - scams. Not true at all.
You can indeed earn $3000 by working from home - I am a good example myself - but you need to find legitimate offers. Legitimate offers don't really come knocking onto your door.
They may offer 3k but seldom do they keep their promises. And there is no get-rich-quick thingy here... you need to work hard for this 3k too.

I would def. say scam!
If you are looking for real work at home JOBS then try using sites like http://www.Wahm.com or http://www.WorkatHomeCareers.com . Both of those usually have legit JOBS listed on them that shouldnt require money up front!

Most often the people who make big money promises are scams artist.
Legitimate opportunities are about business building at a pace. The pace that generate the income depends on how much time and experience you have.
If it is being presented to you as easy, quick, effortless and free, it is not real.
Legitimate opportunities are out there too!
