Is anyone else having trouble with MyLot pages loading too slowly?

I've noticed it the past few days now. I try to respond to a discussion, and sometimes the whole process takes so long to load the pages, that I get "timed out" or just have to close down my PC, and start again:-(( At first I thought it was because my server at home is not the quickest in the world, but the last couple of days I've been trying to access MyLot from work in my lunchbreak, and even there (with it's nice, quick Broadband connection), it can still sometimes take hlf ab hour just to respond to one discussion, because the pages take so long. So is this happening to anyone else?

I am also experiencing this, but not very frequently. All over speed of the Mylot site is getting little slow in last few days. May be it's because of growing useres of Mylot. I think Mylot should take step to enhence the capacity of the site with the growing usere.
And sometime also I have noticed that if you post a response it goes all white and I have to type again.

Yes - that happens to me too!!!I've taken to copying all my responses now before I hit the "send" button - just in case!!!

Yes- I've noticed it too... not sure whats going on- but it takes forever to load and mine gets stuck after i answer s question, then i hit it again and i end up answering twice. maybe because there are more people on at the same time???? or maybe they are trying to keep us from answering to many in the same day...less money to pay out???

Well I guess that could be a possibility! And have to say I'm glad this is not just happening to me!I thought I had upset the great god MyLot!!!

Yes, it is happening to me too and it is freaking me out. MyLot has been relatively slower recently and I can't seem to load things fast enough too.
So we have no choice but to WAIT for things to revert to normal. :/

i'm also having the same problem.
i think there is some problem with the mylot server and i think they just need to upgrade it. i don't think that they'll do it deliberately becase it can result in loosing the members which i'm sure the site will not want.

I have dial-up so my pages ALWAYS load slow. But what I've heard from a lot of other mylotters is that mylot has been doing major updates/repairs etc. That is the main reason for all the problems on mylot. The email issues, the double postings, the photos loading slow or not at all, the notify being switched from on to off etc. So bear with mylot they may have an even better service soon. No telling how long. But be patient as it happens to more sites other than mylot. LOL.

Well thanks for that. I did wonder if upgrades might be the reason. MyLot is getting bigger every day, and I guess technical work has to be done to make the site run more smoothly.

I've been having the same problem as well... and what's so exasperating is that I get an error message whenever I try to post a response and I have to re-type everything all over again. The thing here is I usually do an impromptu thing when typing my thoughts and when an error occurs, there's no way for me to recreate those thoughts. This is one of the reasons why I've been unable to post a lot of responses this past week. I hope MyLot can do something about this...

Sometimes I find mylot takes more than 8 seconds to load the pages. But never as slow as half an hour. Maybe you machine has been infected with virus. I have experienced the sluggishness sometime ago, then I use all kinds of anti-virus software to check kill the virus. The software Adaware and AVG found 113 high risks virus in my system. You may try to login other website and perform you daily acrivity, if you find the pages loading very slow too. Then your system is possible having virus problems.

I have excellent security on my PC, and all other sites connect perfectly well, with no delays. It only happens on MyLot, and the same thing happens from my PC at work too.

yes, it is happening to me always this only one site which uploads very slowly i think the owners of site had set this

The loading hes slowed considerably lately. I womder if they can handle the volume.

Ya you are right. I also ind a lot of problem sometimes with MyLOT pages. the discussion does not get submitted. I am not sure why this happens. The connection is also good, even then this happens.
Maybe the concerned people should look in to it
