Saying Sorry

Do you find it hard to say "I'm sorry" to the person you unintentionally hurt? I do. Sometimes while joking around, I didn't notice that somebody gets hurt of the jokes I threw. And when I got informed of it, I didn't know how to react. I want to say sorry but I don't know how to do it. =(

Thats good to see that you realise that somebody gets hurt by your word. Then never be ashamed to say sorry to the victim. It wouldn't be ashamed of. I believe that great people are those who care for others. Un-intentionally commited mistakes can never be weighted to sins. It really seems that you are innocent enough even to say sorry. Go to him / her and just shake hand & hug (LoL). God bless you!

i used to feel so awkward saying sorry but now i think the best thing is to realise and think deeply that if he did something wrong you also expect a sorry , so same goes with us also , so there is no need to feel bad about it .

Dude i think you are not the only one with this problem. I also have the same problem as you do, and to solve i generally use indirect ways of saying sorry like SMS, E-Mail or something like that. trust me it really works for me and i hope it will for you too. Best Of Luck

We all put our foot in our mouths sometimes. I have been told that I have a very dry sense of humor, and that I'm blunt. So I don't mean to hurt people's feelings. But like you how do you take something back, or how do you try to reexplain what you were trying to say when feeling are already hurt. My friends know that I would never say something to hurt them I just have a different thought process than they do. So if you really feel the need to say sorry or explain what you said than just say it and if they still don't understand than maybe they aren't as good of a friend as you thought. Hope that helps.
