zero and O - the word"zero" what we can see now, it was the last digit to come into use.
well, ZERO is not simply, it is a number but have other meaning than number, zero means nothing — an absence of other values. Historically, it was the last digit to come into use. In the English language, zero may also be called null or nil when a number, o/oh when a numeral, and nought/naught in either context. Noone know Who discovered zero and when.... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/0_%28number%29 http://www-gap.dcs.st-and.ac.uk/%7Ehistory/HistTopics/Zero.html

I am not a mathematician, but I believe 'zero' is a number. Without '0', no maths or calculation will be possible.

Yes zero is a number... It denotes nothing, null and void. I'm sure mathematicians out there will give you more scientific and more exciting answers. By the way, why do hate the number zero?

Yes, zero is a number that signifies value just as any other number does. It signifies the value as nothing. It is the divider between something and less than nothing. You might even say it is worthless, as it is worth nothing. Nothing needs to get out and get a job so that someday it may be worth something, but it shouldn't invest because it might lose what it doesn't already have and then it would be worth less than nothing and all the other nothings could then look down on it and throw rocks and say mean things. Then it would have to move from it's worthless home to the sub level where the negatives all live. Then there will be jealousies and envy, and the next thing you know their will be wars between the somethings, the nothings and the negatives. This will cause a serious drain on the economy, until the negatives win and then would reign supreme. So yes, zero is a number, and you better not pick o it.
