Unbelievable Story

Last night I was watching Nancy Grace and they showed a story of a woman who has a 2 and 4 year old. The woman was apparently in the other room having a sleep while her brother and his friend made these two kids smoke pot. I was in shock!!! What was scarey is these kids were inhaling it (like they knew how) so it made people wonder how long they had been doing this. They were staggering all over the place. The reason they got caught was the police were there on a drug investigation and they checked the camera for whatever reason and saw the video they took of these kids. I am so shocked. What are people thinking these days??

How could the woman not be mad at her brother? I agree that some people just shouldn't be allowed have kids.

hahahah PART2..lol Yes, this whole ordeal is really crazy. It's so sad,in a matter of time and doing wrong things, people are in jail or children taken away from the home they know.... It makes me so mad to know that the mother was in the bedroom "asleep" and say she was unaware?? COme on now...weed is not ordorless and it lingers...lol..Shame it had to be aired on television for them to realize it was WRONG...they all get what they deserve....Hopefully this is a wake up call to everyone who has done this or doing this sort of stuff around and too small innocent children...

That is terrible. You would think that the mothere would have smelled it even if she was asleep or that she would have noticed it on their clothes if they has been doing this for a while. Sounds odd to me. Children are not safe in their own home anymore. Sad really.

The believe that it was actually the mother behind the camera, taking the video. Apparently her voice can be heard in the background at one point.

I have seen that same story on the news quite a few times in the last few days and it just disgusts me that someone would do that to two small children. What I found even worse is that the mother didn't think the uncle should get any jail time. What a society we live in!

One of the problems is that there is no accountability. There is no supervision of the boys who gave the pot, and obviously there was no supervision of the toddlers. Its a degrading cycle, generation after generation, with unsupervised children (minors) watching their younger relatives. I'm sure that the teenagers learned their own pot-smoking ways from watching relatives when they were younger themselves. Someone mentioned that the mother was more upset with the police than anyone else. I also saw the video of one of the boys being arrested. They bleeped him out, but it was obvious that he was cursing at everyone and indignant. They have remorse for their conduct. No sense of what's right and wrong.

This is just one of those stories that you have to ask...what is responsible parenting? If I caught anybody doing that to my child, I make sure that they will land in jail and stay there for a long time. I just read an update about this case and the Uncle who gave these kids pot was saying why the media blow the story out of proportion because sooner or later, these kids will smoke pot. Imagine that? And the mother disagree that her brother will spend jail time. Imagine that too? And then these kind of people will be the same people who will blame the society if their kids turn out bad. This kind of upbringing of children is disgusting and they should not be allowed to have any children. Your children is your responsibility. Can you imagine how pot would affect this kids way of thinking and behavior? And when these kids grow up and doesn't act right, the society will be blamed for it because everything about it is bad and the government is not doing anything about it.

The mother is also to blame for this, for being negligent. I have never been asleeop when my toddlers were awake and roamig around. There is no excuse for this. She should have known her teen brothr was a stoner, too, so if she purposely left her kids in his care then that's pretty bad.

That's really unbelievable!!! The people who made the kids do that horrible thing are insane!!! And if the mom really got mad at the police for doing the arrest instead of standing up for her children's benefit, then she must be insane too! They all need psychiatric help or to be locked up somewhere and the kids have to be placed in a decent place where they could grow up the right way. Talk about distorted morals, thats exactly what this generation has to rebuild! It should not be passed on to the next. I believe we need a revolution... of morals and ethical standards. Funny how most people of this age barf at such talks and think its too corny to be upright but a degraded, Godless generation would mean a fatal future for all of us, dont you think?

Kids as young as 2 years old being taught how to smoke pot? What's next?! It sure is shocking. I can't believe adults can really do this to kids as young as a 2 year old kid! They should set a good example to them and not teaching things that can harm them. I don't know but I think people's minds nowadays are very corrupted by evil doings.

It's really disturbing story, well people like these are not thinking anymore about what's right or wrong all they care about is their satisfaction no matter what the negative or positve outcome is, in this situation the two innocent kids have been introduce to this kind of addiction by the addicts who don'r care a thing.

Yep, yep and yep! I'm not going to cry in support of these people's actions, but I think we DO need to remember it's the BEHAVIOR being discussed...the PEOPLE are just like all of us..."imperfect". They made 'errors in judgement', like we hear so often from news stories of high powered CEO's who have stolen money from their companies so retirees no longer have security for their future; and the Politicians who have taken big business bribes and recapitulated with some kind of legislation which the business asked for; and the myriad other 'behaviors' people perform for their own personal 'gain' or gratification. I think we must also remember that the substance allegedly being delivered is one which is constantly under controversy anyway, as relates to personal use. Indeed, some "less-civilized" countries continue to use 'plant preparations' (including narcotics) in religious, spiritual and medicinal rites & ceremonies.

I was more than appalled when I saw this video, I was terrified. It just burned me to the core. I do not want to ever see that video again. Once was enough for me (though in that "once" it was shown over and over again about 3 or 4 times). I do not know what the proper punishment should be for these potheads, but I believe they need to suffer in some way.

I was pretty shocked by that as well. THey really did look like there knew what they were doing. I was surprised how anyone could every be that irresponsible to do that. Trust me, I don't care about weed, but making a few toddlers smoke when they don't know any better and are that young and still developing is just awful.

That is awful. I can't believe that somebody make little children do some thing like that. Well I am glad they got caught, and I hope that they have to serve time for it. What kind of impression is that to set for children? I will have to let my fiance know about this. I can't believe people now days. What could make a person do such a thing? Sorry that is a shocker.
