adobe photoshop or corel or paintshop ?

For working with photos I use Photoshop Elements 3. It is very powerfull and easy to use once you start playing iwth it. It is also affordable for the average user to purchase and get their moneys worth out of it.

i have used corel draw initially but later shifted to adobe photoshop 9 cs2 and found to be best for me.

I could have sworn that Corel and PaintShop were the same thing, but ..ehhh.
I prefer Paint Shop Pro 7, though.

I prefer adobe photoshop. I use photoshop cs2 now, it helps me a lot especially in editing photos.
Corel is also cool, but it has limitations, it's hard to edit picture image in corel.
Corel is best only for drawing and logo designing. While in photoshop, you can draw, design, and edit pictures.
You can even design a webpage in photoshop.
