Is there anybody out there that loves Nancy Ajram as much as I do? And have you seen her in concert? I always wondered why her videos deviate so far from her songs. For example she'll be singing about love but her video is of a circus where no love exists in the content. Inta Yeh was the closest I've seen any of her videos match the content of the song. Do singers in the middle east sometimes have to sugarcoat or cover up their content in videos so they don't offend any religious elders or anyone else?

1-I'm not a big fan of Nancy. so i don't like her as much as u do, but i would listen 2 her & sit 4 her videos. they are pretty original and so different than all other Arab musicians, which is why it is so irrelevant. she is like acting in her own movie and getting away with it. if u know what i mean.
2- and NO it's not about "covering up" the love content cuz or religious reasons. because if it were, they wouldn't be singing in the first place. i have seen video with middle eastern musicians getting kissed and caressed druring a a love song, even some babe dincing in her under garments in a seduction song . . .so that dismisses the religious cover up.

So maybe it's just each artist representing themself and who they are and expressing that in their videos. She is the only artist I've ever followed from Lebanon.
