Until recently, law required all movies made in Hong Kong had to have English subtitles. But producers spend as little on translations as possible.... "How can I make love without TV?" "Who gave you the nerve to get killed here?" Did you ever find funny translations?

You can pick up tons of example as what you said. Like "Riding a horse to see flower", "People mountain people sea", "No money no talk" etc.

i think one of the reason is that is because people in hong kong are used to english from england, alot of time people try to put words together to make it what they think it is the right words, not always get translate into the right words for you. is like you learn to speak chinese, they would think it is funny and how you words things
