Hollywood star angelina Jolie has filed papers to adopt a Vietnamese child with her partner and fellow screen idol Brad Pitt, the most senior adoption official in the communist country said Friday. "We received a file from Angelina Jolie through a US organisation a few days ago, asking for permission to adopt a child from Vietnam," said Vu Duc Long, head of the justice ministry's international child adoption department. The Hollywood power couple visited an orphanage near Ho Chi Minh City during last November's Thanksgiving holiday and spent the day playing with children. " She is not yet married so the file was from her individually. It will take a few months fro us to consider this," said Long. "We consider her like any other American who wants to adopt children from Vietnam." The couple have a baby daughter, Shiloh, born last May, as well as adopte children Maddox, five , from Combodia, and Zahara, two, from Ethiopia.
