What kids cartoon do you find yourself humming or singing?

I was talking to my best friend about how I find that I often am singing the theme for Wonder Pets that my kids have watched on TV and I conceded that yes, I know I am a little crazy. ha ha So, are you a little bit crazy and like to sing or hum the songs from children cartoons? What do you sing? Does it get stuck in your head for a better part of the day? When I am about to walk out the door and the kids are watching something, whatever song was on often plays through my head. But somehow, I often go back to singing the Wonder Pets song too! LOL So, am I crazy? Or do you find yourself singing children cartoon songs too?

ha ha That is addicting too. But I don't know all the words. I only have: Elmo loves her goldfish, her crayons too. Any other words...I hum it. ha ha Now I have to quickly read another before I start singing that for the rest of the evening. ha ha

brokentia you are not alone, and not crazy!! I often find myself singing or humming the "spongebob squarepants" song! I think it is our subconscois trying to make us feel like a kid a while longer and stop worrying about stuff.. I dont know about you, but when i hum the song, i feel strangely happy and content... So, here's to still feeling young and enjoying the simple things in life... like a cartoon, or just its song... tily019 P.S. "who lives in a pine-apple under the sea?" LOL!!

I have never heard of the Wonder Pets but I don't get to see many cartoons anymore. The song that usually gets stuck in my head is the I love you song from Barney or the SpongeBob one. I have been known to hum/sing them when they aren't even on. But I have finally gotten over the Lambchop song. Oh nevermind...its back now.lol

Are you talking about the Song that Never Ends? Cause it goes on and on my frind. Some people started singing it not knowing what it is was, and they'll continue singing it forever just because, this is the song that doesn't end.....oops...I best stop now! :) Thanks for reminding me of that one!

I don't even have kids and I sometimes hum the songs from cartoons. A friend of mine sings "What's gonna work? Teamwork" from Wonder pets. I didn't pay much attention until I saw it myself but now I get it. It's an opera for kids! "There's the phone...The phone is ringing..A pet's in twubble.." A friend was impressed (or at least surprised) that I knew all the words to the Spongebob theme, but I really like the words. "Absorbant and yellow and porous is he.."

the kids song that I sing is not from a cartoon but it is a kids song. I love to sing "I am a child of God". I used to sing it to my grandchildrn to put htem to sleep when they were visiting us. One day, my daughter called and said "Mom I cant get her shut up, she wont go to sleep and she keeps screaming" I told her to put the phone up to the babies ears. I began to sing, I am a child of God and after a few second she stipped crying. I kept singing until my daughter got back on the phone and said that she was asleep. LOL My daughter lives a 9 hour drive a way so I guess you could call me along distance Nana! LOL

That is awesome to know that you get Little Einsteins in Malaysia. Even better that we are all from different places but we get the same songs from kids shows stuck in our heads. I have that one from Little Einsteins where they are singing to a classical tune... Open up, we want to come in...open, open, open, open up. :)

"Icky Vicky" and "Find Your Voice" both from Fairly Odd-Parents. They can really get stuck in your head let me tell you. They are both cute and well done but yeah you do get some strange looks when you are singing them. Now a kid's show that isn't a cartoon the theme song from Hannah Montana will get stuck in my head as well. Got to love kids and their shows right?

Wonder Pets Wonder Pets we're on our way! To help a friend and save the day! We're not too big and we're not too tough but when we work together we got the right stuff! Sorry, I had to. I get that song stuck in my head CONSTANTLY. That song and the Backyardigans song. My 1 year old nephew watches those two shows religiously. It's insane. You're definitely not alone on this one!

As a child, my favourite cartoon was Popeye, lol, every so often it still wanders through my head, the strange thing is, after 40 years I still remember a lot of the words. Maybe I'm crazy, lol.

Even though I haven't even seen the cartoon in years, whenever I get busy doing something I start humming the theme to The Smurfs. Sometimes I won't even notice I'm doing it and I can't even do it on demand. I can't remember it when I want too and then all of a sudden I'm humming it. Weird, huh.

I usually find myself humming a song from the backyardigans if I'm really bored. And when my friends and I are bored and try to amuse ourselves, I sing one of their songs. I get weird looks, but they're fun songs to sing :)

My son is only 8months old. He basically only watches PBS Sprout. SO the songs that I always end up getting stuck in my head are the theme songs from : Sagwa, Kipper and Dragon Tales. My husband is always looking at me like I am a complete nut job when I do it but hey at least my son thinks its funny and great.

Your not a nut. Your son will one day start singing with you. And the fact that you sing with it shows that he can interact. :)

My daughter loves watching the wiggles and of course I have to listen to their songs. I can't get fruit salad out of my head. I love listing to them. They have a very positive influence to my daughter. I also sing with her the songs. It's great way to bond with her and calm her down when she is hyperactive.
