What do you do to memorialize your loved ones?

Well in our country there is this tradition of conducting shradh, that is giving food and some usable clothes to a brahmin. The belief is that doing this will give happiness to the departed souls.So that is what I do in fathers memory.

I have a wall with a lot of family pictures on it in my dining room, and also have pictures of my ancestors on my piano. I did scrapbooks to commemorate each person in the family who've passed on with pictures of them throughout their lives and their accomplishments. Some of their favorite objects are in a glass etigere.

I have'nt lost too many loved ones but to the ones that I have I keep a picture of them in my living room and something small that they owned next to their picture. My Parents have creamated their pets and keep them in their living room.
