If you had to choose between a million dollars and no friends, or, friends but your l life would remain the same daily grind, which would you pick and why. Answers should have your reason and be backed up. One liners not welcome.

For me I prefer to have my friends rather than 1 million.
If you have money but no friends , what are you going to d owith the money,,? Just stay at home ,drink ,party yourself???? Without your friends , no matter how rich you are , you cannot be happy. On the other hand , if you have friends , you can spend time with them, even you do not hve much money to do some extravagant things with them, you can still have a couples of drinks and start up a good conversation with them which are better than to be alone ..

That's how I feel also.
I mean you could get alot of new friends with the money but they would only be around while the money is around.
I like the few friends I have and I'm going to stick with them:)

a million dollars... could take away a lot of money stress.. friends tend to add stress too and they really arent that wonderful anyway. I'd take the money.. I'd probably be lonely - but hey I dont hang out with anyone but my cat anyway.

I rather take both. With friends, life isn't boring. With money, I can entertain my friends better. Besides, money will create more businesses and friends along the way. Not to put down friends, they are your sources to more money too. So both are equally important to me.

Perhaps I'm feeling too cynical tonight but I would take the money. People can let you down and hurt you. I've had a few too many relationships fall apart because of unrealistic expectations and judgemental personalities. I might be lonely without friends but it's nothing I haven't faced before. If I had that amount of money, I would be able to be self sufficient and not need the people I am grudgingly depending on now.

Sounds like your hermit like me. LOL just joking. But a very good defense of your position. Thank you very much for your comment.
