Do you use pressure cooker?

I am planning to buy pressure cooker.To stream veggis,cooking rice etc...do you think its worth enough to spend 30 dollars.What are other puposes of pressure cooker,please discribe me.

Pressure cooker for us in the family is very useful because it's our main way of cooking rice, steaming dumplings. If you can risk your $30, why not. If you don't like, then you can use your ordinary cookware for food preparations.

It is very worth it. The veggies will retain their nutrients, and taste so much better. They will also be done very quickly. Enjoy, go for it.

i don't have it, i don't trust much this cooker i am always scared it can blow up. i prefer steam cooking

Pressure cookers are great to have if you like "canning" so if you have a garden then I would say go for it. If your just wanting to cook the average piece of meat or vegetables you could do with out it.
