Have You Had Problems With Your PayPal Account????

I have had a PayPal account for 4 years now and have never had anything but good service. They did put a freez on $100 dollars of my money in my account the last of December. I had sold a fountain pen to a man in Itlay on ebay. He paid me through PayPal and I shipped it right out to him. However, I made a mistake. I did not require a confirmation that he had received the pen. I could prove I had shipped it but not that he had or had not received it. PayPal requires that you prove that the buyer receives the item or they refund their money if they file a complaint. Since I couldn't do this they refunded his $100 and I never got the Pen back. But, this was my fault because PayPal states this in their policy. I just should have read the policy better. I ship all over the world and this is the only time this has happened. I did learn a lesson the hard way.

Did she respond to a phishing email? If she did then that is how the problems usually start. Best plan is to change passwords immediately and inform Paypal if you suspect anything is wrong. I have only one problem in the past couple of years and that was getting a refund payment made, but they sorted it out very quickly

I personally never had a problem, except for when they took money out of it once for a very stupid reason.. are you sure she hasn't done anything bad on ebay? I would be taking them to court because if it is her money, they have absolutely no right to take it without a valid reason.

No I certainly haven't and I hope I never will but I will never be holding that much in there lol as I normally spend the bit I have on Ebay for mainly Books and other things. At the sound of things I hope I never will have that Problem.

No I havent but I have heard about it and it does take awhile to get it back but tell her to keep working at it

I personally have never had a problem with paypal before. I just transfered $100.00 from my paypal account to my own account and had the money within 3 business days. They also helped me out when I fell for a scam. I actually got my $35 back!

I have never had any problems with my account or any money being frozen in my account. I have heard other people who have had this problem and are still trying to get it worked out. It is good though that paypal keeps an eye out for us as maybe someone hacked into her account.
