If you ere needed to select....Your wife or the baby?

if my wife fregnant and need to cesar surgery,and the doctor ask me to choose one to survive,i will choose my wife to survive cause i choose the baby ,who will to take care the baby?

The wife. As the above poster mentioned, she can possible conceive again and she is the one you committed to and promised to protect and cherish. Besides, say you chose to save the baby... what would you tell the baby when it was grown and asked about it's mother? That you were instrumental in the decision to not save her life? And would you as a father want to undertake all the care of a newborn while grieving your wife? I think the woman in question would choose to save herself as well, given her innate knowledge that a baby truly needs its mother, especially if she had other children at home.

well i think your wife should be saved first ... your wife is giving you this child so she should have the full right to live... if possible she can conceive again....

I want the mother to stay alive.She is the part of my life while the baby is not still present in my life.In future we can have more chance to have baby or we can try adoptation.But for the baby I cannot afford to loose my wife.During marriage I have swore oath with my wife to be with her in all her difficulties.It will be a cheating to push her in pain alone.For someone who have not started his life I cannot afford to loose someone who is the middle of her life.
