Do we rate everyone who participated on the discussions we started in MyLot?

I believe it is necesssary to rate everyone that participated in the discussion we made in mylot. For once an effort is exerted and they must receive a consolation by rating them. In this way we can promote frienships, larger connection, earn points and help others to earn also. This is also a call to every to please rate those who participated in our discussions, It is not necessary that you make them as best response but at least rate them ;)

I've been here to mylot for almost 3 months, and I've been rating and reporting others when they respond to my posts. Thses moderators have been introduced not long ago, and alot has changed since then. People use it responsibly and others abuse it, for some reasons that I do not know.
Mylot gave the rating system to help everyone, and to distinguish those who post irrelevant to the discussion. So it must be used for the benefit of all, to rate and report...

This one is nice to hear, Yes! I agree, "Responsibility". Everyone should be responsible enough on how to use a site that is worth visiting for. Afterall, we tend to become patron of this site for knowledge sharing, friend winning, connection widening...A simple recognition to rate our fellow lotters is fine. This would show how responsible are we being a patron of this site. Recognition, responsibilty, can built a happy "lotters-family". HAve a great day! :)

I rate everyone who responds to my discussions and I also usually rate discussions that I reply to. I feel that if a discussion catches my eye, and it is something interesting enough to reply to-then I also rate it. Does anyone else rate discussions that they reply to or only responses that they receive?

I rate everyone, even when I don't really have the time to reply to everyone. Sometimes I am offline for days at a time, because the only time I really get to be on is after work and sometimes for a couple minutes before work, and if something comes up during those times (such as spending time with my husband, having friends over, or being ill) then I won't come on. So sometimes it takes me a bit to get back to discussions I start, but I do always rate everyone who repsonds.

It is nice to hear that we find time to appreciate others by rating them despite of time challenges. Maybe this is one of the essence of mylot. To express, To appreciate, to share our thoughts...Have a great day

as for me i rate everybody who answered my discussions and its something that i should do as a sign of gratitude of having them answering my discussion as well. it might be nothing but for me its something when people recognized you and answer discussions of yours.

Very well said, recognition to your action is a good motivation to work harder and better. The issue here is not whether you rate them or not but to be able to recognize people's effort. In my Lot, recognition through rating is not a hard thing to do...it is the easiest. Have a great day.
