inspired from the book Tuesdays with Morrie, i will ask you guys what would you prefer and why... would you want that you know how long will you live on earth or do you choose to live as if there will always be tomorrow, to live in uncertainties?
both sides have thier pros and cons...it will be better if you what you think will be the advantage and disadvantage of your choice.
if you are afraid to choose, just tell me why.
thanks a lot... ill rate your answer

Oh, I forgot to ask you...how was the book, "Tuesdays with Morrie"? Did you enjoy it? I would like to read it-it's on my list of books to read.

yes i've read that book, that's why i came up to this discussion. im thinking if ill be morrie, will i do the same that he did? its a good inspirational book, it makes me think to be grateful coz im not him, but somehow envied him coz comparing our desires in life, he has more and achieve more inspite of. you should read it, its about a man who knew he's dying and live his remaining life to the fullest. i like how the book was written, its simple and creative, and expressive as well.
by the way, thanks for the comments. if you read the book, somehow you might wish to know when is your time, but of course morrie, that time is in his old age.

I would choose to live in uncertainties regarless of if there is or isn't a tomorrow. we don't know when it is going to be the end of the book for us and that is why we should all live everyday like it is the last and best we will ever have. Because one day half of that statement will be true.
Like a great song said "live like it is the last moon rising, scream just like there is no one there, lose all of my defenses... like it's the very last moment in time.

no i do not want to know. I wouldnt want to always be thinking "2322 days left, 2321 days left, etc" it would be horrible for me. I want to live as if i will be there tomorrow.

This is a good question to think about. I don't think that I would want to know, because then I would probably just obsess about it. I'd rather remind myself everyday, to live each day to the fullest, because we never really do know. Like the saying that says, "dance like nobody is watching, live each day like it is your last..." etc. (I can't remember exactly how it goes, but you get the idea...I'm sure you've heard that quote before.)
I try to cherish each day and find something positive to be grateful about. Thanks for this discussion-it's an excellent reminder for me to enjoy and cherish each and every day!
