Well now this could catch on quick!, well in fact I guess it already has. To the tune of almost 200,000 Bracelets to date. A Kansas City, MO church has hit on something that just may work! It's so simple I wish I had thought of it! NO WHINNING, GOSSIPING OR COMPLAINING for 21 straight days! - could you do it? It has changed the lives of several people/ famlies. People that have completed the task have reported that they are leading totally different lives. Thinking Positive, speaking of positive things- has brought them closer to their spouses, children, employer. The information I read said is it takes 21 days for something to become a habit. So his challenge is for 21 days absolutely no complaining, gossiping or whining. The minute you whine, gossip, complain, or think negatively you have to take the bracelet and move it to the other wrist and start over on your days. It took several attempts to start thinking differently and he eventually made the 21 day goal. Read about it it's a great concept. Think how much better we could feel in 21 days. Feel better about ourselves, and those we care about. Even those we don't particularly care for. WWW.ACOMPLAINTFREEWORLD.ORG read it for yourself. I think it's a great challenge. Lets start a challenge. Order your bracelet and we'll do it together. ! What do you think of the concept?

I just made a $25 donation. NOt much but I wanted to do something to help. I am sure they would be appreciative of whatever they received.

Hi, I saw your discussion a couple of days ago and have really been thinking a lot about it. I am by nature, not a whiner. If something irks me I do something about it. Having said that, I think it is always a good idea to try and improve your attitude about things. Do you remember Stella Stevens? She has said that she will not spend time with anyone who is not fun to be with. By that she means she avoids anyone who is always down or negative about life. I agree with her. Life is too short to be focusing on the negative things. When I am driving and I have someone else in the car with me, and they complain about what another driver did, I just say something like, "Well at least you aren't in their car, and now they are gone. Let's enjoy the trip." I may order a bracelet, just to see if I am practicing what I preach, but I think it is a great idea. Thanks for sharing.

I would fail at this one. People always ask me if I want some cheese with to go with my whine! It does sound like a good concept, if people really and truly stick to it.

LOL oh come on you whimp! If I can do it so can you. However; I got an email from the church today and now due to the overwhelming demand they need to get money money (Imagine that) so they can afford to have more made and send more out, the postage the people to pack them etc. Their normal congregation is about 250 people so it's taking for resources than they have right now to maintain. I am such a skeptic I took it as needing another donation.. and immediately it left a bad taste in my mouth but if you look at the stats on it it makes sense that the "cash Flow" issue could in fact be real? What do you think. Oh the delay for the bracelets now he said was 3-6 months so whine away girl !!! LOL you gots lots of time.

Wow! Somehow I missed this post until now. What an awesome concept. I wonder if they would let me order 38 of them...one for each of my nursing students! Ha! I really do have a little plague on the front of my desk that says, "No whining." We all need to approach life with a more positive attitude. I think that half the time the reason we lean toward 'feeling bad' and have so many bodily complaints is that we have such falsely inflated expectations of what we should 'get' from situations or others! When that doesn't pan out, we feel let down! I really, really like this idea. I might see if my teens and hubby want to join me ..and change the mood around our home!

good for you !!! what a great concept huh? see the last comment I made above there is a long delay as I stated, But who is to say we have to have "THAT" bracelet. THere are tons of these little rubber bracelets with various sayings on them that would serve the purpose? what if we all got a few of those? I think they cost like $1? Hmmmm- wheels are turning here,

I ordered a bracelet. I am not sure how well this is going to go for me because I tend to complain a lot but I am going to try. I think it would make a big difference in my life and everyone's lives if there was less negativity and we found the good in things.

thank you for responding. I put up this discussion last week and thought it would bruing hoardes of responses... but so far only you and I. Amazing. But GOOD LUCK !! I know it will be really hard for me... I have nto received it yet, they said due to overwhelming orders it could take 3-5 weeks. So "Complain now" so we can be successful later. Thanks for the company - I will be glad we can discuss it together on a positive note soon. Jacki
