MAC ready for virus attack?

as i know there are few antivirus for mac, and many of MAC user don't have any antivirus.. It's is mean APPLE ready for that attack

I think MAC viruses are different than WINDOWES O.s. viruses.windows virus can't effect on MAC o.s. while MAC virus will not effect on windows o.s.

I guess that the difference between Windows based virus and MAC based virus are due to MAC has a better operating system and normally their users are more carefully with computer softwares than windows ones.
