Which one do you choose, to be an employer or an employee?
Do you prefer having your own business with its risk or being safe as a worker?
And what situation do you have now?
Share with me will you?

I would prefer to be on my own and I AM on my own. Persons with immense talent in any performing arts, counselling/therapy professions, and other consultancy expertises sooner or later will definitely try to be on their own. Though being on own has its own risks, the feeling of freedom associated with that is addictive! You set your goals, you march towards them, and ultimately reach YOUR goals. Whereas though working under others has the element of job security or protection from market risks, ultimately no matter how hard you work, you often land up working towards "others'" goals. Except in professions that have an element of social service like physicians, Law enforcement, etc. most employees in corporate set ups land up in a situation where their best gets used up for the welfare of the organization and there is no virtue in that!
Being on your own is definitely more exciting.

Yes, I'm too an entrepreneur.
I have one graphic design studio. I design some promotional brochure, a kiosk and some other merchandises.
I like it even when the income is not as I hope, but it's true there are different excitements after finishing one project...
