I feel out of step lately. I look at some of the discussion topics and wonder why I didn't think of "that". I am exploring setting up a web site and I'm totally lost with the language that is used. I can't program my cell phone and get confused using the TV remote. Am I the only one who feels this way?

Oh Lord NO your not. I feel your pain!. I have come to the conclusion that technology has "done passed me by". I was feeling pretty comfortable til my 6 yr. old grandson had to show me how to start a movie with the remote(s) we have. Oye!! was that an eye opener. But the technology changes so quickly it's amazing. I think I want an IPOD, but I'm afraid I won't be able to operate it ! LOL.
I think we need to hire a 10 yr old for a month to bring us up to date LOL!

No, you're not too old, it's just a changing world. Cell phones are just that, phones that you can take with you, who needs the ringtones and games and other garbage?
As for setting up a website, try Microsoft Front Page or a webhost with Cpanel, do a few searches on "html" or "php" , whatever language your'e interested in, and before you know it you'll be up and running.
Can't help you with the TV remote, I agree, they suck. Whatever happened to "channel up/down, volume up/down, power and a simple 10 key number pad?
Best of luck
