What will you do?

Have you ever considered what you would do if your spouse dies before you do?
I don't just mean financially, although that's very important. I mean, how would you spend your life. Do you think you would marry again? Would you move someplace else? Would you feel freer to do things you couldn't do while you were married?
Because my husband is ill, I've been thinking a lot about these things lately?

Hi there,
I haven't thought about it until i read your post.If i am not yet on my 60's and if the right guy comes along i think i will remarry, but if i am much older i would rather not but who knows, we need someone to be there for us ,loving us, someone we can talk to, we need a companion, a shoulder to cry on, someone who will be there until our last breath.Yes we have kids and relatives but they have their own families too.So why waste your time being alone if there is someone who needs you too and that he can be there for you, loving you for the rest of your remaining days.I wish your husband fully recovery from his illness and i wish you all the happiness this world can offer.

Thank you for your good wishes. I agree having a companion is very important.
