Does it bother you when you are looking through the discussions and you can't find anything worth responding to? I have that problem a lot. Maybe I'm just too picky. I see people who post jokes.. What kind of discussions can you have about them..I mean they are great and all, but I honestly cannot find a discussion in them.
And there are the people who TyPe likE THis. That is very annoying. When I see that stuff, I pass right by it.
Is it just me being too picky?? I'm sure that a lot of you have had that same problem before.
I have no problems with people wanting to be friends and everything, but it annoys me that when I turn somebody down, and the next day, they are waiting for an answer again. Does that ever happen to you?

Yes, I get frustrated looking through the discussions and not being able to find anything I want to respond to. I can spend half an hour and still find nothing. I finally found one to post to and the stupid system did not accept my post. I got a "please respond to this post" message as if I hadn't typed anything in. Now I am searching for the original discussion to try and post again.
As for the jokes, as per myLot guidelines they are not to be posted. Like you said, they are not discussions.

Oh yes. I do feel quite the same as you are feeling. So I get bored and tune off. :P
Why don't you try starting some discussions you would like to see? That's would be one nice start!
And when you come across friends who regularly post quality discussions, make sure you set notify to ON and check them regularly. ;-)

i agree with the typing issue. my current peeve in regards is the people that know english but not well enough to type. time spent decoding is not great for trying to post an answer.
as for lack of worthy conversations, i think it has to do with mood. try using the search bar above to find something or even the "discussion with no responce" on the side to find a fresh topic. usually this second one pays off relitively quickly.
