A Filipino hero...

Some of us Filipinos have forgotten about Dr. Jose Rizal. As a student of the primier university of the Philippines Im a currently finishing my Rizal course. As we all know, Dr. Jose Rizal is a Filipino hero and he loved the Philippines so much that he died for it. Some say that he is like Jesus. Guys what more can you say about him? If ever he's still alive, what would you like to tell him?

Despite being an American-sponsored hero, I admire Dr. Jose Rizal for fighting for our rights in a peaceful manner and if he were alive, I would like to personally say that I admire him so much and I love his nationalism for our country

i am currently taking a rizal course this summer term.
excited as others, i really want to know more who rizal is and why is he our national hero. BUT taking this course only makes me think so deep. i just want to say, whoever Rizal is before and nowadays, he will be just a plain hero or of our country now.
