what would be a good mixing console for a medium size home redording studio

i have a home recording studio but i have a beringer 24 input mixer but want to upgrade to a better console i was looking at the mackie onix 2480 and also the yamaha mg series i guess the blue ones and the beringer eurodesk mx9000 i have a 10 input edirol interface and a dell laptop using cubase what would be a good mixer and do i need a b tape return input ? i would like to have the option to mix on the program or on the mixer physically to a tape or dat, and something with good monitor control for earphones in the recording booths and if possible a built in talk back mic can anyone help

I think it would be a good option, to have a console digital ype a Yahama 02R/96,like this vc will have good préamp,reverb, compressors and it will still be able to expand his/her digital channels if he/she works with some audio plate with the option Light Pipe.Tell me which his/her equipment for me can aid you better.hug
