I would like to advice you of reading some ood english papers daily and do keep a dictionary with you while you are reading them, so that you can easily refer to it incase you find trouble understanding some word. And also try to make good long ienglish conversations with your friends or people around you, it helps improving your accent and fluency. And also try referring some good grammer books and try reading a few english novels. Do not look for knowledge in english serials and movies as they use a lot of different styles and also use slangs. Hope this helps you out.
Take Care
And May GOD Bless YOU

Do you have any friends who are fluent English speakers? Try having some talks with them in English. Also if you don't really know anybody who does speak it why don't you get an online friend to use Skype with you or something. It would be great practice.

I would suggest reading, both short articles and novels since these can help you become familiar with the language. It will also help to talk amongst your friends in English, as this would be the center of your job as a call center agent. In terms of lessons, it is best to start with the basics of subject-verb agreement since this would cover all conversational and written [English] skills.
I wish to comment that online English, often abbreviated, won't help you learn English. It would be better practice to write emails in complete and correct English. Try going through online articles from news magazines, maybe the NYTimes or read Reader's Digest, you'll find the articles interesting and informing, while learning about the language.
Good luck!

Actually I find your English pretty good considering English is not your first language . You are doing better then me as English is the only language I know .
Just talking on here may help improve your English as you will see how others are talking and the way they are putting them together . You might even be able to find something on the internet to help out if you do a search for learning to speak English better or something like that . It is amazing what you can find on here .
When my baby was really small , I found a site to teach her sign language so she would be able to talk faster and it even showed a woman doing each word so that I knew if I was doing it right . It was like a teaching tutor to teach you how to speak sign language . My reason for wanting to do it was that I had heard that you can teach a child this well before they ever learned to talk and I wanted to see if I could really do it or not .
Best of luck !!

hello i think if you want to improve your english, wether it is written or oral, i think you should start from the very beginning of your english subject. so that you can understand and able to choose the right words when you compose your own sentence.

i suggest you attend call center classes (if you have there in india). Here in the philippines, call center courses are being offered for a cost of course. Call center industry is really hot these days and lot of jobseekers are applying for call center positions. So, in order for them to be qualified enough, some attend call center courses. I think it will beneficial for you if you join these classes since your target job is to be a call center agent.
Also, i suggest you watch american films so you'll be familiar in the american accent. =) Or if you have friends who are fluent in english, you may ask help from them. =)

There's really just one solution to your problem. Read. Do it out loud and do it quietly, either will be good for you. Always have a dictionary so you can look up words that you do not understand. If it is possible, engage people in conversation and watch english films to practice your pronounciation. If you're still not satisfied, then maybe you can enroll in a speech class, though I'd think accent classes are a bit overrated because teachers tend to over enunciate every word that you'd end up sounding like a putz if you use that english in normal conversation.

It takes some time to learn a lanaguage ,you may not see huge improvment within one week, but practice makes perfect ,when tiems go by, you will be better and better.
Try to speak loudly in front of a mirror ,imagine you are talking with alot of audience, when you get enough practice ,you will not even feel fear when speaking up in front of many people..
You can try to listen to radios more often..bbc or cnn is probably the best radio channels to learn english

First read daily magazines, books and watch tv in english language then to practice the language spend more time with your friends who speaks english and communicate with them in english tell them that it's ok with you if they will correct you if they can't understand what you're talking about so you can improve on it...doing it regularly will improve not only your language but also your personality...Good luck and God bless! :)

your english doesn't look that bad as what your saying, you can easily improve your english by general discussions with friends in both verbal and written(chatting and sms) make sure that you will not use short words.
as many of them in mylot said simple english books and newspapers are too good. even i had the same prob since i have completed my studies in regional medium and later i improved english. now working for the MNC. talk talk n more talk with friends.

be confident and don't be shy of conversing in english.don't try and use sophisticated language and please don't confuse it for good language.good language is that which conveys what it means to using the simplest of means
