everything now days seems to be fortified with something. Vit. C seems to be one of the more wide spread options. Juice, Food, not to mention it seems to be naturally high in citrus. Is it possible to overdose on that sort of vitamin? Which ones should a person avoide overdosing on?

Actually yes there are some vitamins and minerals you do have to be careful with. Some if you get too much the body will eliminate, like Vitamin C, however others the body will store, like Vitamin E, and if you have too much stored you run into an over dose. The ones I know for sure to be careful with are Vitamines A, E and K. There are others but those three I know on for sure.

I am not a doctor or a nutritionist, but I have done a lot of research on vitamins for my own health benefits.
Vitamin C in regular foods, even fortified foods would be virtually impossible to OD on. Vit. C is a water soluble vitamin and is not stored in the body. Any excess that your body doesn't use is excreted.
Fat soluble vitamins are normally stored in the body's fat for a short time. There are fat soluble vitamins that can, if taken in extremely high doses, be dangerous. The one that gets the most attention is Vitamin A. Extremely high doses over a long period of time can cause severe liver problems.
But unless you are taking massive amounts of vitamin pills every day you have nothing to worry about. Eating a well balanced diet with fortified or unfortified foods and even taking a daily vitamin supplement cannot harm you.
