Horde or alliance better?

Having played a lot of both, I have to say that I prefer the Alliance quests. They seem to just be more fun - I also don't really like any of the Horde city layouts, which probably feeds into it! That said, they are both good fun. Part of the joy of the game is playing to 60 as one side, then starting a new character and playing through some of the same areas but with a different perspective.

I haven't played too much on the horde side. Being on the alliance is pretty easy because of the the amount of people you can choose from the play with. However I heard that horde tend to help each other out more. A lot of people say that all the kids play on Alliance side and the adults play the horde side. Some say that children want good looking characters and until Burning Crusade there weren't any good looking horde. However, in the guild I use to be in there was a lot of people 30+. I even knew a woman that was like 60 years old in my guild. I have about 5 friends that play on the alliance side with me and we're all in our 20s. It does seem like the horde has better racial abilities. Blood Elf has Mana Tap that instantly drains mana from the enemy. Tauren has Ground stomp. As far as questing goes I haven't gotten much farther than 13 on the horde side, but I didn't see it any more easy or difficult than Alliance side. For a long time the horde won Battlegrounds a LOT more than alliance. Now it seems to be evening out. I'm not sure why this is but I have noticed that we have been winning more Arathi Basins and just about every Eye of the Storm. Normally they would win every AB and WSG while we won AV. Well there's my opinion for you. My main is a human paladin and my first alt is a night elf druid.

i love horde, i don't play the quest but i love the heroes of the horde, have nice spell and deadly

Horde seems more mature, and their quests are a lot easier to burn through if you know what you're doing

I tried Alliance first, like most people, and I think that is it probably the most popular faction. It is good for first-time players, and think easiest transport-wise. Horde are the more seasoned players and I find are a LOT more laid back when it comes to.. basically everything. There is less of them but I like it better. In my realm (EU Khadgar) there are more alliance hunters than Horde.. TBH Alliance is full of noobs :P

For alliance! Theres plenty of different stuff, though the quests are well balanced to each sides.

I agree with knockout. I think they should throw in a 3rd faction just to add in on the game's many twists and tensions. It's also fun to see another enemy join in on the fight as I bash ganking allies while I do my quest. heh!

Oh boy. This can raise a big debate. Its basically the point of Wow... two rival teams. Not to get off topic but I believe they should throw in a THIRD elite group! Anyways... I believe Alliance is much better. Horde is just the dirty.. nasty scumbags of the game (not in real life, of course).

iv been playing alliance more than horde only because i like the good side better. only problem with the alliance is the hord is always pking the little people when i started my my human rogue they would not stop pking in goldshire.
