Most childern hate eating vegetable, I will not surprised if more then 90% avoid vegetable during their meals. As adult, we know the benefits of eating vegetable. I heard in a radio interview, one mother said, she try to prepare the vegetables accoding to her childerns request. In this way they do eat some at least. However, she does agree that she had to go the extra lenght in prepartion. Do you have little ones in your family or family that you know having this probllem. How are the problems taken care off or solved. Remmeber your answers will help many parents. Thank you

It is human psychology, when the kids get to taste deliciously prepared succulent pieces of meat, they start thinking that vegetables are not for them but for cows and rabbits!. The best alternative is to start preparing deliciously prepared vegetables, with generous doses of spices like onion, garlic, chili etc. to alter the taste of the vegetable and at the same time prepare dull tasting boiled chicken salad which will put them off meat. Alternatively, start including vegetables in meat dishes, this again helps kids get maximum benefit

Yes a well prepared dish might do the work. Even, by adding meat to the veggi, I think that, they will go for the meat and leave out the veggi.. Thanks for responding

I've heard that this stems fro when the were still in the mother womb and as infiants. The as the women is oregante they should eat healthy and get the baby prepared to enjoy such foods. Then once they are born, feed them healthy items such as vegetables. This is only what I've heard, not certain if it is true though.

I am sure that most mothers when they are expecting do eat good healthy food, which will give their baby adequate nutritions. Yes include vegi when they are ready to consume solid food. Thanks

My children also do not like vegetables. My wife and I basically throw in some incentive to get them to eat vege, like going out after their meals. The other approach is to cook the vege softer so that it is easier for children to chew and swallow. I was also told to start children on vege as early as possible. They are more receptive when they are young. Lastly, it requires more patience to feed children with vege.
