have you ever fired someone at work? know that there are times when one needs to fire workers, and one does it too. but every time i have to fire some one it breaks my heart. some where deep down i want to look for ways to avoid this last resort measure. is there a way to fire wothout feeling pained or guilty ? does everyone feel the same ?

I never fire anyone because im not in the position to do it but i know my boss has the same experience since i'm the who witness it and he just did it because the need of action. Firing staff is never easy, it should be the very deep reason or unless the staff are worst and not able to do his part of the job effectively.
I hope it will not happen to me..
